What a night at the EDGE… God was moving, and you could sense that God was saying, “this year young people are going to respond to my love and grace and let it impact their lives”.
Shane and Sonja did such a good job on the worship, really well chosen songs, lead us in Shane’s non-intrusive style right into God presence.
And well done Allister, stuck with the old favorite ‘I’m going to say the first thing that comes into my head then fool you’s all by saying something really good’ style of announcements, and then a wee cheesy quiz too which Samuel Walter Crockett rose to triumph over the others.
Charlene, gave some advice about heading to college, but only after telling us about her own journey of how God was working through her as she begun college in dublin last year. Her testimony spoke volumes to us all about the effort and challenge that there is in being different, in living this Christ centered life!
Barry Rogers gave us a great word from Gen 12, check it out! The audio should be available on the edge FB, main quote ‘you’ll learn a lot of lessons in life, make sure you learn the lesson of lot’.
But of course the best part was all the catch-ups that were going on after! Great night, Great God, Great Friends!
Proverbs 29:25
Fear of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
Deuteronomy 6:5+6
Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.
